7 Fixes for common cellphone troubles

Being a constant companion, our cellphone is prone to accidents. It's not tough to accidentally drop your cellphone on stairs, or from a table, or spill water on it.
Then begins the nightmare of taking it to the company's workshop. However, do you know if the damage is not much, there are some simple ways by which you can fix your mobile phone all on your own.
Forbes recently gave a list of simple quick fixes for cellphones. Here are some tips from the list.

Phone gets wet

Accidentally dropped your phone inside a water pool? It is almost dead. Chill, there is still a chance to revive it.

Just remove the battery cover and put the phone in a plastic bag of dry rice. This may help you soak out the water from your phone. You can also put the bag out in sun for quick evaporation.

Trackball malfunction

Looking for an important email, and the trackball on your smartphone just refuses to scroll.
It's dust and dirt. Just like in a computer mouse, dust and dirt also make the movement of your trackball tardy. Just soak alcohol in a cloth and rub it over and around the trackball. Another way can be to pop out the trackball and clean it manually.

Damaged charger

An aging cellphone can often give tough time charging the device. Also, charging connector within the phone also at times gets damaged, loose or corroded. For mild corrosion, scrubbing the connector with a soft brush or a cloth soaked in alcohol can help.
However, for damaged or loose connector one needs to visit the repair centre.

Body scratches

Got scratches on your mobile phone's body, there is a simple way to get rid of them. Just do a light buffing with fine sandpaper. However, this may affect the shiny coating of your phone.

Scratched display

Scratches on your phone's screen gives you a tough time reading? Applying metal polish with a soft cloth may help here.
Special scratch removal liquids and gels are also available.

Hangs

Your phone often hangs? It simply refuses to respond. Here the first step is to switch off the device and power it again. In case this does not work, remove the battery and reboot it.
Another way to restore it is to try connecting it to your computer. Also, look for instructions in your phone's settings or menu. It might help.

Cracked case

Your phone's case got cracks. But its working, so all seems to be fine. Not really, continuing with a phone with a cracked case can be damaging for your phone in the long run as it exposes your phone to dust and water. To protect it from further damage go for a close-fitting case.

Is today Friday?

I felt today as Friday. When I went to gym at 7.30pm, very few were at gym doing their business. After 1hour, I came out and have seen very silent and lonely campus. Daily at this time, I could see people running to catch their busses, people sitting in the play ground and chit chatting among themselves, little crowd at food court. Today, I could not see any of these. I was going to food court; suddenly I realize that tomorrow is holiday to the campus as it is Ramzan. They got 3 days holidays continuously. Hence, every one left the office campus very early to catch their trains to go their home town. Of course, I am also going to my home town, not today but tomorrow evening. This time my trip would be for 10 days. So, there will be no office, no official works, no client meetings, no status updates and no reporting for 10days.
Hope I will remember (very difficult task in my life) all my ids, passwords and my works after my vacation.

Happy Teachers Day

Happy Teachers Day.

Internal Badminton selections

Today, we had internal badminton selections for the registered employees. Winners of this selection process will be participated in our organization’s inter unit badminton capitations. I too registered as I was very much interested in the Badminton. Almost 8months later, 2day only I handed rocket, so as expected I was not in the form. Selection process began. I was the first participant in the list as my name starts with “A”. I was called to play singles with my colleague. We both played trail for some time with new shuttle cock. Umpire came, called us for toss. I asked my opponent to choose. Umpire threw the coin up, he (my opponent) chose head. The coin was down on the ground and it shown heads. I lost my toss (which is very common to me. I rarely win toss :) ). He chose to serve first. As I am lazy, I didn’t want to move from my court where I stood.
Umpire explained the rules of the game. Game was for 21 points and every out will lead opponent to gain a point. The game was started. The first serve, he gave shuttle very high and back. I though it was going out of the court, but felt down in the back box. He started his score card with the first shot it self. He continued his sever for second point, I could let it down. Hence my score board was started to get count.
I got shuttle to do my first serve in the match. By the time, he took serve from me; I could able to score 4 points. I got enough confidence to continue my play. From that point, I let down all his services. After 15mins of game, our score board was 14(me) & 7 (my opponent). Two of my project mates also registered for the selections. They stood next to the court. They started encourage me. But they didn’t know, my energy was completely down. I could not even move to pick the cock. It could happen, if you play directly after 8 months of gap. The match was continued. Score became 15-10, 16-12, 17-17, 18-21.
Game over. He won the game. Umpire told me not needed to stay there in the court and its surrounding :). So, I returned to my desk and continued with my work.

RaviTeja's Don Seenu

Today, I saw "Don Seenu" movie, one more average movie to the tollywood. Nothing was new and interesting in the movie. The story is little different, but was not presented properly. Ravi teja’s performance was routine. It’s the time to change his acting style, otherwise the future movies will not be interesting to watch.
First half of the movie was very boring. Second half was better than the first half, with some comedy. Movie has little comedy in the 2nd half after Brahmanandam entered the story. A dialogue delivered by Brahmi, which I like in the movie was, “Neeku outgoing avasaram ledu, incoming ki response vundadu”
Finally, the movie was “Ok” to me.

నీ నవ్వుతొ పోల్చు, శాశ్వతంగా ఉంటుంది."

My First Post

Hi Friends,

This is my first post in my blog.
I want to start my blog with a message which I wanted to tell to my friend when she was leaving me for her better future. Unfortunately, I could’t say it to her. I share that message with you.
